Andy Vowells – DJ Mushroom

Andy Vowells, also known as DJ Mushroom, founded the popular hip-hop band Massive Attack and the collective Wild Bunch in Bristol. I had the pleasure of working with him and exploring the creative process of capturing electroacoustic sound in unique locations. Due to Andy’s stature in the music industry and his involvement in multi-million selling releases, I cannot divulge any further details about my work with him. What I can reveal, however, is that I have been involved in his projects thanks to his sound assistant and engineer, Giorgio Cortiana.
