Adrian Utley (Portishead) – In C by Terry Riley

Adrian Utley, a former member of Mercury Prize-winning band Portishead, visited Deep Blue Sound Studios to rehearse, record and teach a minimalist composition written by Terry Riley. It is now regarded as one of the most incredible contemporary compositions ever created. I had the pleasure and honour of interpreting the piece using a synthesiser as part of the first electronic music orchestra to perform it.
